How to use the digital game

Drag to the abacus rod as many pieces as the number indicates, bearing in mind that the colour of the pieces must be the same the number has.

How to use the toy

Hand out the Abacolor Maxi Miniland game to familiarise with the enclosed pieces. Search for differences and likeness between the geometric figures. Free play and or conversation). Explain how abacus can help us count. Two types of sheets are proposed. From the first two, we select the pieces and reproduce the sheets, paying attention on the rod s pieces shape, colour and number. With the other two sheets, we search as many pieces as the number and colour indicates and we reproduce them. We may introduce the concept of unit, tens and hundreds and the positional numbering system on the abacus.
